Just because you should...

... doesn't mean you can.

Being friends with very talented painters, such as Hien and Thomas, is a constant source of inspiration. So the other day, I took a paint-along-class. My girlfriends and I signed up mostly because of the "Bring Your Own Bottle" policy, and it made for a terrific ladies-day-out activity. In any case, somewhere between half way through the class and 3 glasses of wine, I started painting my own things instead of "paint-along." I am posting the result below - clearly, I would not make a very good painter. It's OK to laugh at me - I am happy to bring some random amusement to your weekend.

We were supposed to paint a happy scene with sunshine, flowers, and blue sky. I guess I instinctively went with a much more "dark and disturbed" look :-).

I guess not all of us can be painters. I am just glad to be friends with them :-).
